Payment link names are intended to be used in the same way as social media hashtags. You can give your links unique names, e.g., that include the name of your business - MyBizIncSummerSpecial. Alternatively link names can share a common or trending name that aligns with social media trends or seasonal marketing, e.g., EarthDay2025.

Flexible Group (Splice) Payments - Reservation Example
Scenario: You're a successful, sought-after, private chef doing private events and dinners.
A prospective customer contacts you to prepare a private dinner for three couples.
You've agreed on a theme, menu and date and the customer plans to split the cost of the
event with the other two couples.
1. Login with your email address, password and a one-time passcode (OTP)
2. Navigate to the Home screen
3. Enter a name for your Wallet-safe payment link, e.g., AlleyneRSVP20220522
* TIP! Personalize your group links. They are intended to be shared within a group, but never across groups!
4. Choose "Group Link" as the link type to allow the cost to be split upfront among the couples
* TIP! The couples can evenly split the cost of the dinner before the event by passing the link among themselves
and entering their credit/debit card details to confirm the number of couples attending and avoid post-event hassles
collecting repayments from the other couples
5. Set the amount, e.g., $700, then click "Create"
6. Share that link with the point of contact for the reservation, who can, in turn, share it with the other couples
* TIP! As participants enter their payment details and email contact info everyone in the group will receive
email notifications so it is easy to know who is in and has committed for dinner
Note: The total amount of the Wallet-safe link for dinner is split evenly across the committed debit/credit cards.

Painless Installment (Pay 4 Anything) Payments - Buy Now Pay Later Example
Scenario: You have decided to offer a subset of loyal customers that participate
in your rewards program an installment payment option (also known as Buy Now Pay Later/BNPL) as a new perk.
Given recent trends and interest in BNPL you see this as an opportunity to explore how offering
this option can smooth and add predictability to your cash flows while increasing the attractiveness of
your rewards program.
1. Login with your email address, password and a one-time passcode (OTP)
2. Navigate to the Home screen
3. Enter a name for your Wallet-safe payment link, e.g., LoyaltyPackageP4A2022
4. Choose "Pay 4 Anything Link" as the link type to allow a customer to pay the total in four equal installments
* TIP! Merchants that allow customers to make installment payments with their credit/debit cards should
enable the
Card Account Updater
option when choosing their Wallet-safe payment links service package to reduce the likelihood of card churn
(missed payments due to card expiry or loss)
5. Set the amount, e.g., $200, then click "Create"
6. Share that link with the customers participating in your BNPL pilot. Their payments will be automatically
split into 4 equal payments (spaced 2 weeks apart by default)
Note: Multiple customers can submit payments via the same installment payment link. Each initial
charge will set up a new recurring series of payments to capture all four installment payments for each customer.
